Frequently Asked Questions

Are Dental Implants Safe?

Dental Implants are one of the most reliable ways of replacing missing teeth. At your consultation, our team will analyze the best option for you and your unique case to provide a solution that is not only effective but is also safe for the long term.

Will Implants Fit in My Budget?

When you arrive at your free consultation, we will be able to give you an accurate treatment plan and pricing for your unique case, there are multiple options depending on your budget, and in most cases, we will be able to break your treatment into affordable monthly payment plans.

How long Does a Dental Implant Procedure take?

Assuming that you don't require a bone augmentation or sinus graft prior to fitting an implant, the next step is to secure the titanium rod down into the jawbone. Surgery can take between 1-2.5 hours per implant and when finished most implant dentists will fit a temporary crown.

Do I have to be careful of what I eat, like with dentures?

Definitely not! Dental implants are just like your real teeth. Eat crunchy, chewy food and enjoy it just as much as you did with your natural teeth!

I'm worried about the procedure being painful. Do I need to be prepared for lots of pain?

Lots of patients worry about dental pain, so let us put your mind at ease. For the dental implant surgery you'll be numb and won't feel a thing. It's like taking a short nap and waking up with a new smile!

About 90% of our patients come in the next day for a follow-up with no bruising, swelling or pain. Patients generally report tolerable soreness as they heal. Occasionally a patient will have some pain, but it is uncommon and usually avoidable if you closely follow post-op instructions.

When I get dental implants, do you have to refer me to several different specialists?

Some dental offices need to do that, but we don't! We are fully trained to complete your dental implant surgery from start to finish.
